Our DH Bride: AJ Johnson – Luxury Bridal Designer

“My husband and I met on the first day of High School art class. We were seated alphabetically by first name and became best friends. Flash forward to the end of senior year and we were dating.” stated our DH bride, AJ Johnson. Little did AJ know that 9 years later she would be marrying the man of her dreams, who just so happened to be the teenage boy from art class.

AJ and Andrew got married in a backyard in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Being the hometown of both the bride and groom, they pictured their wedding to be bright and colorful. Having grown up in the same town and attending the same high school and college, the couple’s friends and family overlapped more than you can even imagine. Together gathered 275 of AJ and Andrew’s closest friends and family who spent the entire evening eating, drinking, dancing, and celebrating underneath the open-air October skies. The overall atmosphere of the wedding was bright colors, fun cocktails, and no shortage of dancing & tequila!

AJ purchased her gown at LOHO Bride in West LA. After hearing about LOHO Bride from the photographer who would capture their wedding, AJ started to do some research on the gowns they carry. When AJ came across a photo of our Jules, she immediately knew it was the gown for her. AJ was drawn to the vintage, timeless, and comfortable aspects of the Jules, and mentioned that: “the detailing of the pearls gave the gown a timeless feel while the corset design and low back made me feel confident and like myself.” Both AJ and her husband were blown away by the quality and attention to detail of our gown.
